I-Blason Prime Series Dual Layer Holster Phone Case
The dual layer holster phone case for HTC One M8 and others
I-Blason Prime Series Dual Layer Holster Phone Case Review
A new phone meant a new case and whilst one did come with the HTC One M8 when I got it from O2 back in the Autumn of 2014 it didnt last long. First the hole in the charging port broke and the case simply wore down over time which meant it started to fall off, it was therefore time for a new case.... time to search Amazon I suppose.
The search didn't take me long and I stumbled across the Dual Layer Holster style phone case from I-Blason.
Now this is a double layered phone case which basically means that, well there are two layers. One is a soft rubberised case which clips over the phone, the second is a hard plastic shell that clips over the rubber case and holds it in place. The rubber case has cut outs for the charging point and headphone jack and the power button which means its fairly strong as the case has most of its sides 100% intact. Eteched into the rubber case are button covers for the volume buttons so these are not exposed in any way which keeps the case nice and rigid. Also etched into the rubber are little insets that the plastic case gripd over and into which means the plastic doesnt protrude from the rubber case in any way when connected.
The case once completely built has a beveled edge which means your screen and any screen protecter are protected from damage whilst the slide cover for the front is off, so much so that you could do away with the front sliding cover totally and just use half of the case.
